You can choose if your print will be with or without white border. That means there will be either an empty margin around the image, or the image will cover the entire paper.

Please do not confuse it with a picture frame!

The borders can look great if you don’t have a matte in your frame. It gives the image a bit of space around, which can make it look more classy and elegant and directs the focus onto the artwork. Also provides a bit of protection around the print, so it’s easier to handle it.

The printed area is a bit bigger as you can see on the size chart below. It’s perfect for frames which have their own matte board or if you just prefer the seamless look without any empty space. Just keep in mind they are quite delicate and easily scratched around the edges (especially very dark colours), so the less manipulation, the better.
